Upon completion of the audits, we’re able to develop a detailed analysis of the assessed routes via a technical report, including photos. The analysis will highlight gaps and also align the town/city to national and international best practice.
The analysis and proposals presented in the report will also function as:
- a learning tool for planners, destination managers, cultural and heritage operators and engineers for the development of accessibility in urban heritage environments within that town or city destination
- a planning tool for that town or city, to guide future development, involving all areas of the tourism supply chain
- an awareness-raising tool which will demonstrate the public sector’s strategy and commitment to focus on improving accessibility in the town’s streets and places.
All this while inspiring businesses to do the same within their buildings and facilities in order to meet the diverse needs of tourists and citizens.
